    Pakistani Fish Recipes

    Here you'll find a collection of Pakistani fish recipes from the blog. My personal favourite from here is the Prawn Karahi, which I highly recommend as a quick, one-pot meal!

    I was recently intrigued to discover that Pakistan has the lowest fish consumption rate in the world! Punjab and KPK, the region much of my cooking draws influence from, does not have direct access to the sea, so it makes sense that fish is not a regular part of their diet. Instead, seafood is considered a special and occasional treat. In the winter seasons, it's prized for it's 'warming' properties and you'll find that's when it's mostly consumed in Pakistan.
